baking matcaps with polypaint in a texture map

Hello zbrush community,
I was introduced to zbrush about a month ago and since then have been addicted. Ive been all over the interweb watching tutorials multiple times and downloading books. I am a photographer and want to encorprate zbrush into my workflow. I recently started a project for myself that is coming along very nicely for a newbie. I want to post a Wip of it so i can get some feedback so i can further grow as a zbrush artist.I have hit a speed bump that i can’t get past, im not sure if its my version of zbrush (zbrush 2.3 osx) or if i am not grasping something. Hopefully you all can help. Basically what i am trying to do is get a shiny matcap to bake with my polypaint in a texture map. I have followed this tutorial religiously using image plane and cant get the same results as in the video.(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJj4sLtp9tA) I keep getting stuck when i go to load my texture on the imageplane i just get a blank plane, or if i go to the texture palette on the right and turn texture on(which i got from polypaint) i get the texture but cannot cycle through the matcaps to get different effects.
I also have seen other ways of doing this but they require zapplink and is not available for the mac version.
Any help is greatly appreciated so thank you.

Can someone even base an opinion off of this question or point me in the right direction? Or just say hi so I know the post is visible. thanks

thanks chungking for the reply but that is the tutorial ive been trying to follow. I keep getting stuck when I go to reload my texture and displacement on the image plane. In the tutorial they appear on the plane fine, for me the texture will appear but i cannot cycle thru the matcaps.

The video you linked to was for zbrush 3.1 so the workflow with textures is now slightly different.?

Thanks Richard I have version 3.2 on the mac.Do you know of any tutorials on the workflow with this version? Im just trying to bake different matcaps with my texture maps but it seems so difficult or is just not working. any help is awesome, thanks again.

the texture map option on the tool menu to the right, sometimes i have to open that up and the there are options for new texture, clone and such and there is a little texture window if you click on it you can choose the texure to be placed on the object, also you might need to to click new texture first, i dont know if this is setup in 3.2
