Baking HD Geometry

Hey all,

I was working on a friends machine the other day, and he was using HD geometry and finally got the mesh to the point where he want to start posing him and rendering. I was so excited I really wanted to see what a displacement map/normal map would look like at this stage to make sure everything was right, so we ran it through to have the textures baked, but once we go into the HD geometry mode, it no longer allowed us to create a Normal Map/ Displacement Map. What are some ways we can generate these types of maps using HD geometry?

It’s sounds like you’re using a version earlier than 3.5. The ability to create maps from HD data was added with version 3.5.
