When I want to bake a displacement map into the mesh (with the “Apply DispMap” button), it would ignore the adjustments I did to scale, to make the displacement map’s size fit to the surface it is supposed to be applied to. I am doing this with UV repeat sliders in the UVmap tab and it shows fine as long as the displacement map is not actually baked into geo.
How can I properly adjust the scale of a displacement projection which I want to turn into geometry?
Is this a bug or am I doing it wrong… There must be some easy way…
