I made a high poly sculpt of my model, then I exported a mid level version of it to Blender, and retopologized it to make the low poly version. Now, I’m trying to figure out how to bake textures from the high poly to my low poly, which I’ve saved as an OBJ. I imported it in as a subtool, but I can’t figure out how to bake textures from the high poly.
you can’t do direct baking inside of zbrush the way you do in other applications.
you have to project the new lowpoly mesh onto the higher polymesh and generate your normals from that. There are a ton of tutorials on projecting one mesh on to another.
