I want to sculpt using an image reference. I followed these instructions:
- Import your background image. Choose the Flat Color material, then press Texture>Crop and Fill to place it on the canvas.
- Select a material such as Fast Shader for modeling.
- Select the object you want to model.
- Set the Draw>Rgb Intensity to something like 70%. This will let you see the reference image through the model while you work on it. Draw the model and start sculpting.
#1) The tool is not transparent! Why? I set the rgb to 50%. I can’t see through it.
#2) The tool keeps interacting with the actual background. I go to layer -> displace z. When I return, I’m no longer in Edit mode. I can’t alter the tool. If I create a new tool, it interacts with the background image again.
How do I do this?
Thanks!
