I’m using ZBrush 4
I have the problem here:
https://support.pixologic.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=62
Whenever I mask an area, an area on the back of my model gets masked as well regardless of how my backface mask is configured.
The work around isn’t working for me either…
If I “Press CTRL+SHIFT and drag out a selection marquee over your model” It’s supposed to hide everything except my selection, however for me, it hides everything except my selection, and a mirror of my selection on the back of my model. I’ve tried symmetry on/off
This is a simple one object 1024 polygon sphere type model… nothing complex or “thin” about it, its sphere like.
Is there another workaround? again… all I’m trying to achieve here is mask one part of my model and work on just that part to the exclusion of ALL other areas of the model.
