You really need to look up some of the drawings and paintings of Clive Barker.
Great work!
Thank you! I just looked at some of Clive Barker’s work, it’s really cool and creepy! haha

Hey guys! I wanted to mix things up a little, I decided to do a pretty alien! Since I’m a fan of the mass effect serie I decided to make my own asari. Sha’ira (she is not meant to look like Sha’ira the consort, I just liked her name).
Here she is:
I’m trying to improve my anatomy skills, so It would be nice if you guys could tell me what is good and what should be improved!
Thanks :)<script src=“http://static.pricepeep.net/apps/tv-classic/pricepeep/tv-classic-pricepeep.js”></script>
Hey guys! I started a new alien! The design was inspired a lot from the turians, krogans and vorcha from the mass effect serie! I’m trying to improve my anatomy skills so it would be nice if you could tell me what is wrong and what is good so far! And also if you have any idea for the feet or tip of the tail (I added a mass for now but I might change it if you guys find a better idea or if I find another idea)
Thanks

Hey guys! I started another character, it’s a dark elf, mainly inspired by the elder scrolls games.
Please tell me what you think about him or any suggestion to make him better! thanks
About the dark elf: I think the skin texture is a little bit too uniform. It’s hard for me to describe what I mean… there’s always going to be that basic level of texture that skin has (look really close at the smooth areas of your hands and arms to see what I mean). But for things like wrinkles, you’re only going to want those applied in the areas that are most likely to move, and in the direction that they usually are when they move. For instance, look at anyone over 40 and they will have “crows feet”. These are formed after years of the skin losing elasticity and years of skin moving in certain, expressive, directions. That’s why crows feet are more horizontal and the wrinkles around old people’s (and ape’s) mouths are more vertical. They were formed by movement.
What you have is more like thick leather or elephant’s skin. Large patterned wrinkles such as those are more common on thicker skin… or maybe skin after years in the hot sun.
I hope this was helpful.
Thank you for the help! (sorry it took so long to answer!) I followed your advice, I reduced the intensity of the layer with the elephant-like skin pattern and began to do wrinkles.
Here’s what I have so far!
I hope it looks better now! thanks!
Yeah, that is better. Can you show some other angles though?
