AUV Tile Maps and 3DS Max

I’m pretty new to ZBrush (and 3D modelling in general) and this is probably a bit of a stupid question, but it’s something that has been perplexing me all day.

I’ve modelled a head in 3DS Max, imported in to ZBrush with no texture, then using Projection Master/ ZAppLink I’ve textured it using AUV Tiles, however when I import it back to Max and render the tiles are garbled. As per below. The same thing happens if I try to export a displacement or normal map.

What have I done wrong?

I have just recently done the same thing successfully:+1:

I was also working on a head mapped with auv tiles using 3ds max/zbrush.

before you export you need to flip your applinked texture using the flip button in the texture pallete. also you may need to use the fix seam button and adjust the fsborder.
(save it as a psd).
also look into the import/export options in the perferencs pallete.

there could be another problem but try this first

Awesome stuff, it just need the Y flipping. Thanks for the help!

Here’s how it looks now (with in complete texture). Crit welcomed!
