autosave and/or autobackup

I know this is an old topic but most of the information regarding this subject on this forum is ancient.

I’ve read that there is an autobackup feature now but it’s not recommended to use that on a Vista/7 system. (wtf)

Is this plugin the industry standard?

I really don’t want to have to use the “other” program just for a fundamental autosave function, especially since I paid for Zbrush personally.

Zbrush4 is the most stable version I’ve ever used but stability and more features don’t mean a damn thing when there’s a power outage - and from firsthand experience, studios are not immune to them.

Best backup that Zbrush has.

There is the auto back up but when you’re working on a mesh with 80million verts you don’t exactly want to stop working every 15min when it decides to autoback.

Our studio uses UPS’s so power isn’t really that big of an issue. I save every 30min or so by habit as well.
