of course this is possible in ZB. Best option is using retopolgy, because it will give you a low Poly count. Merge the 2 Subtools together and then in Retopology just change the intersecting Polygons, to make it one mesh. You don’t actually need to retopo the whole piece.
Another way to do it, would be using remesh and reproject on the merged subtools.

ok well I merged the subtools and tried retopology on a little part. I tried to see the projection but I cant see any details projected. I tried retopo on the same model without merging the subtools and it works. Any idea what could be wrong?
