Here is a render I did for a friends comic a couple of months ago. The comic is called Astrofunk which is written, drawn, and self published by Ross Burt. Astrofunk.
I tried to translate his awesome crazy 2D style into the sculpt which was pretty tough…

It was ace getting to see one of my renders printed in a comic! Hides a multitude of sins

I used zbrush for all of the female character including the rendering, which was done by just screengrabbing the model with various different shaders and then compositing the image in photoshop.
Render was heavily based on Ross’ designs for Astrofunk which you can see here
