Assignment #1: Rock Sculpt

For the first assignment in class, we had to sculpt some sort of rock or mineral.
I personally chose Garnet, because it’s my birth stone!

For my first time working in Zbrush ever? I think it went overall really well; I mean obviously it's not even comparable to 98% of the artwork on here, but I think for a first shot it was pretty okay! I had trouble making the stones transparent and shiny, like in the reference, and I had a hard time trying to figure out how to sculpt it from a sphere. I had no idea where to start, but I think I did decent.

Overall I’m proud for my first attempt!
