Assigning Materials

[I have also posted this in the ZBrush Main forum.]

I’m sorry if this thread has been posted before, but I don’t what I’m supposed to be searching for.
My problem is as follows:

I have a tool, which is assigned a skin texture, call him Man1.
I have another tool which I want to assign a different texture (ToyPlastic) to, called Eyes1.
How do I do this without both tools changing to the same material, because obviously the eyes and body mustn’t be the same thing.

Similarly:
When I created my Eyes1 I did it using ProjectionMaster with ToyPlastic. When I lift the projection, how can I save my Eyes1 so that they cannot be deformed when I load them into my Man1 tool which is assigned to a Skin material. The Eyes1 retains the colour projection, but the material doesn’t remain.

I’m positive I’m just missing something obvious, but if anyone could direct me to a tutorial or thread that could help me it would be most appreciated.

Thanks,
Ben

Use PolyPaint to fill the specific subtools with the desired material. There’s info in the Wiki for how to do this. Specifically: http://www.pixologic.com/docs/index.php/Materials_and_SubTools Or you can use SubTool Master, which has an option to fill all visible SubTools with the current material.

I shall give it a try.
Thanks you
