I am trying to use the insert micro-mesh function in Zbrush R4.3. I follow the tutorial in the Zbrush classroom. Every thing works fine until I get to the part where I am to assign the micro mesh to the planes and I find no assign micro mesh button under the display roll out. At this point I am stuck. Have I done something stupid and missed a step. I’ve been over it several times and it all ways come to the same end. Help would be appreciated.
The ‘MicroMesh’ button is now in Tool>Geometry subpalette. Also, don’t forget to enable ‘Draw Micromesh’ button in the Render>Render Properties subpalette.

You know, Zbrush might have thought to have included this little tid bit in the tutorial they put up on their web site.
Some of the videos are a bit outdated now which can make them confusing, but each time a new version is released they include a Whats_New pdf file that documents all of the newer additions, as well as changes such as this.
It’s worth having up-to-date videos though since many people rely on them, perhaps if it’s too much work to redo a video just to change one thing, they could add a little pop-up annotation alerting people that a button used in the tutorial has been relocated.
I agree and I will check my PDF next time. I totally forgot about this resource.
