Hans Rudolf Giger (Coira, 5 febbraio 1940 – 12 maggio 2014)
The Greatest artist of our time is died. I’m so sad for this and i can’t find the right words.
My condolences to the family, friend Leslie Barany and all the artists and friends who admired Giger’s Art. He has been and will continue to be a constant source of inspiration. You will not be forgotten master. Rest in peace in your world.

This guy was my original inspiration as a kid and his work shaped me into the artist I am today. May he rest in peace.

Teardrops from an alien creature, is it possible?
I think it is.

He has planting something.
These seeds have spread over the entire world.
An initial spark.
A new dimension.
Immortal giant among dwarfs.

H.R.Giger

His Art will live forever, i’ve post on my FB some words from his close friends and artists.

He was everything dark and beautiful to me.

My thoughts are still focused on this sad news. So, I wanted to make a completely new work driven by my actual feelings in these three days. Again a tribute to the Master H.R Giger and his immortal Art. I’ve entitled it “Hellbound Heart” both for my love for the Hellraiser movie and both for a phrase Giger once said in an interview ***8220;For me Paradise is Hell***8221;. This work started as a work in progress but i prefer to post it as it is actually. Hope you like it.

Your the first person i thought of when i heard the news yesterday, i was thinking if LVXIFER knew about this sad news … my heart goes for his family.

I really like the work, I encourage LUX:

I see you have a message for all of us straight from the Heart. No pun intended…
I have admired his work for many many years…

Thank you guys.

Dear LVXIFER,

The news about Giger’s death hit me hard. I’m live in Switzerland and I know Giger since many years and I’m also dit some airbrush jobs for him, years ago.

So, I’m also know his Wife Carmen, and she gave me and a small group of people the possibility to be with Giger’s family at Hans Ruedi Giger’s funeral, this was last sunday, May 25.

It was really hard and sad to place a rose on his coffin and say goodby.
But me and a little group of special people had the chance to say goodby by his coffin and I’m appreciate that for the
rest of my live.

So, R.I.P. Hans Ruedi

I really like the detail in your “watcher” piece. Do you have a process for that kind of layered detail?

Some characters in those days for training.
