Hey great tip man and nice work you have going on!

thx bro :+1:

Hello Daniele,
the bust in Dan Ouellette’style is very interesting. His (drawn)art fit perfectly with the power of organic sculpting of ZB…

Thx you Francesco for the visit and comment i’m honoured, i’m glad you like it!

SeaAlienBust-II-sketch.jpgI was looking at the great works of Master Rick Baker and soon i was inspired in making a sort of character / monster well in this case a sea alien , just a sketch for tonight , i could sculpt it more adding details but i get tired easily and want to work on other things in mind. Hope you like it.

Sometimes less is more. Very powerful colors and picturesque art.
I like that very well!

Ciao,
TM

Thx Tribun, here are 4 views of the model.

Arnaldo Pomodoro Tribute IV alternative version | Zbrush modeling & rendering

Hey thx you very much, i’m glad yopu like both the Sea Alien (it was just a sketch) and the sculpture, Pomodoro like i’ve said some pages ago here is one of my fave artist concerning sculptures and it’s cool to recreate the style within zbrush. I want to explore more this maybe inventing a character or a scene more complex will see…

great image - very cool effect !! your a machine !!

thx you Gary i appreciate it a lot!!!

hey thx you bro, how is it done ? in gold and bronze maybe with spheres and boxes eheheh well i’m joking of course anyway the approach is easy: just basic primitives (like sphere or cubes) cloned and inserted on a base bigger mesh plus scultping here and there etc rendering in zbrush, just some minor effects in Photoshop (like shines for example). No particular secret, the image is strong just because behind there is the influence of one of the greatest sculptor of our time check both Pomodoro brothers online.

Thanks for introducing me to this great artist, Arnaldo Pomodoro
I’ve always liked to meet new artists …
of all learning a little
we must always keep your eyes and heart wide open
