nice looking model! I was wondering if you would be interested in some freelance work? My team is in need of talented artists for a video game project. If interested please send me an email to [email protected] and we can discuss things further.

The secret to get better, is relax and study, and never give up.
You’re good, we can see it, you just need more pratice.

hey Arthur,

very good start with this sculpt.face/head work is good along with the body frame work. the only 2 crits i would give is that the cloth folds need more refining, get some reference which shud help make it more believable. and lastly i wud say with the pose, bend his knees a bit more and his upper body too, just to give the impression of how heavy that bag is on his back. obviously we can tell its heavy by its size but its the effect on the character that is missing i think.

obviously im not an expert or anything but thought this would help. very good start tho keep it up :D. reference is your best friend!

Thanks for the advice, yeah I asked my instructor, He said, reference reference reference. Gotta dress someone up and take a few photos. Still got a long way to go.

no problem buddy. erm well it helps when you decide what material the clothes are made out of, since different materials behave differently with folds. when you decide the material just do a google search for say leather trousers if its made out of leather. other option is to sign up to like 3d.sk to get some proper reference with lots of angles. if you are at school speak to your lecturer and see if the school can sign up to it.

just keep pushing it and watch some tutorial videos whenever you can. it can also give you some inspiration  keep at it.
