This was one of the sculpts I did during the beta. The design was a take on the legendary 917K. The new Project Primitive feature makes it fun to explore shapes that were previously hard to achieve. The deformers have definitely opened up many new design possibilities!
Another design during the beta - The ZPY-18 Drone! Always wanted to do a drone design and the beta gave me the perfect chance when I saw the new Project Primitive feature!
I would kill for a tutorial to create cars like that in zbrush
heres the Z-Dragon! a dragon sculpt I did to explore the sculptris mode! This mini project was to explore the sculptris mode! Snakehook with sculptris is such an awesome feature - makes it really easy to pull out forms without the stretched out mesh like before. The ‘eraser’ feature of the scuptris mode also made is fun and easy to create the fire. I got kinda tired by the time I worked on his feet so I just gave him shoes instead for fun haha
Can’t wait to put in action the new deformers for car design!

@selahpoetic - hope the following image helps to explain the tools I used to create the drone Just play around with the project primitive feature and modify the projects around to explore new shapes. Use the ‘Blend’ cone (pink) to make the projects blend nicely with the original mesh. Definitely try out what each cone does in the deformer. Goodluck and look forward to what you’ll create!

Project Primitive feature allowed me to make some last minute changes to the design. It lags a bit when projecting onto a dense mesh but I can understand. I projected onto the missile and body of the drone during final stages of the design to see what happens… got lucky and made the design shape more interesting… i think haha

Taking advantage of the new Sculptris mode… I did a hermit crab that lives inside the sphere!
