Art Nouveau

I have done quite a few searches on the net for Art Nouveau buildings, cityscapes, structures (cars, planes, boats, etc) and have not found very much so I’ll start this post on the subject. And so Members with intrests can post what they have found on the net weather it be done in other programs (3D-2D) OR books, movies, comics, etc. Thanks for your help.

To start - I think the car in the movie The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen is Art Nouveau, not sure - comments.

Thanks for the links Frenchy! Always appreciate some fine woodwork and the second link was a goldmine!!

spaceboy412 -I have been to the home page to the link you psoted- the links from the home page were not working except for some of the bio’s. Your link is working, their is one link on it called doors that is really cool hereDoors

Pilou the links are cool- I see you used the French version of Google on the subject of Art Nouveau it brings up at more than when I used the NA version of Google- Would the German version (or other versions ) of Google bring up different info?

I suppose that if you enable entiere “web” you obtain the same result
Now that depend also of the exact words you introduce
Art Nouveau, art nouveau
Arts Nouveaux, arts nouveaux
l’art nouveau
etc…
All these words are french words and maybe all languages have not all same letters existing! So the research can’t be the same !

I have not thought about Nouveau in a while, but I have a great book with pictures in it on the style, and period. It was a non defined art, but I preferred the stylish flowing pieces much better than the Egyptian stuff that was also considered Nouveau at the time. It actually seemed like it was drowned out before it ever really came to life. It was beautiful though.

Philou thanks :)- makes sense the different langauges different spellings.

wierdPal - what’s the title of the book
