I was testing this array mesh since I am new to Zbrush. So I see that I set the rotation to 360 but the whole array refuses to rotate 360 but as the count increases the rotation gets closer to 360 but never actually hits 360 since I cannot go over 250 counts and towards infinity and beyond. But I just need 360 rotation with ONLY 25 repeat not infinite repeat anyway. OK now tell me what is wrong with my settings. Sorry if my question was silly. Thanks
For 360 degrees the array doesn’t duplicate the first instance at the end, so that if there’s no offset the circle is complete without any extra instances. So if you’re using an offset you’ll need to increase the rotation with respect to the instance number. For 25 that would be 374.4 degrees but you’ll have to use 375 as the slider doesn’t allow fractions of a degree.
Of course I need to rotate by taking into account an extra!!! This is why by increasing the count the extra rotation angle approaches zero but never becomes zero. Here for 18 repeat I set rotation to 190 and it works perfectly for a 180 turn. Awesome! Thanks for the help.
