cool, I have been waiting to see someone, use masking/alphas to inflate clothing and see how it comes out.

Is that what you did with the armor? or is it a MM and skinned obj?

Aminuts,
Thanx for responding to my stuff. I did the armour using the layer brush. In
combination with the stencil function and projection master. i didn’t use the
inflate brush at all. I only used unified skin to add the eyes, everything else
is one mesh from Z spheres. Glad you liked it. /Odhinn

Wasen’t Armored Saint A Heavy Metal Band Fom The 80s?
Patton

hey odhinn, that method is just as cool…

it shows the same thing I was hoping someone would try and manage to do it successfully, like you did!

Patton,
Yes there was a Metal band of the same name.
Just kind of came to mind as I was working on it.

Aminuts,
I’m still figuring out the interface. I really don’t know
Zbrush very well yet, so most times it’s just trial and error.
I was a long time Maya user but I find that they are not keeping
up with the times. I would love to render in Maya still but it
can’t handle high polygonal models that Zbrush produces. I think
someone should write a Zbrush plugin for the new Maya 6.5 release. The combination of Z models with the photorealistic
renderings of Maya would kill.

Have a question: Just got BodyPaint3D, Have either of you used
it for creating textures ??? I would appreciate your feedback on that software. THANX

keep on zbing Odhinn!!

It doesn’t matter if you suck at texturing…I’ll give you two magic words…Jotajota and Jantim. Go check out the Materials challenge from a couple weeks back in the challenges forum. Both have a submitted a multitude of wonderful materials over time and a bunch and be found there and I think your pillars will benefit!

If you don’t find what you might be looking for there…a search on their names will yield up something surely!!!

Aminuts,
Thanx for the help, I’ll take your advice./O

Hey Ron,
That turned out really well.

Thnx…I thought for what he wanted it did turn out ok…He wanted something made in Z, but not super detailed, so I knew I could do a semi detailed model in z then use the tune shader to get that black and white cartoon effect…and he only wanted black and white for the shirts so that was what I ended up with…all he gave me was a brief description and a stick figure on a cocktail napkin with the text where he wanted it…I also added thumbs later on in another version…he wanted to see thumbs…lol…sometimes the client is not always right, but they are still the client…lol…thnx for looking…that is appreciated as well as your kind words.

Zbrush is great for T-shirt designs for sure.
