Argh! I'm too late. Human Alien.

I got a little bummed yesterday when I came to post my pics of a new model I’m working on. It turns out that the model I’ve been working on for the past week and 1/2, ended up looking a lot like a model that was posted 3 days ago, by NickZ. Looks like we were just working on the same character idea, only his looks better and more refined. Great job on your latest head model NickZ

Anyway I’m still gonna post pics of the one I’m currently working on and off. Let me know what you guys think. I’m still sculpting finer details, as of now. I will be working on the texturing/lighting next week. Probably spend the next few weeks after modeling and texturing the rest of the character. I’m really pushing for realism on this one.

Hey Jesse I really like the strong attitude that flows from this model. I think you can go even further sculping a big trapezoid muscle.

Nice work my friend! Could you talk about your process for creating skin detail? I love the pattern that you have developed on the face.

Keep up the good work!

NickZ.

Yeah, sweet! Everything flows smoothly on this one! :+1: :+1: :+1:

I think I saw that guy at the mall the other day.

Thanks for the comments keep 'em coming.

Nick - The skin detail was created with an alpha brush. I just used a grayscale pic of high res walrus skin as an alpha. The alpha’s edges were very slightly blurred so it layed on the model without any seams. The rest of the details were done by hand with the std brush at varying brush sizes and proper smoothing.
