I want to merge two project files, but the only way I know how to do that is by merging all of my scenes subtools together into one tool, which I would like to avoid doing. Is there a way to save subtools as if in a group? Sorry if this doesn’t make sense
You can try using subtool master to merge everything, then once your project files are merged, use subtool master to split everything up.
another thing you can do is to merge your subtools and have each subtool its own polygroup, then you can use the group split feature afterwards.

A ztl file can be a single object or many subtools. Save your ztl, open your main project and load that file. HTH
