Are there any Current (3.5) good Zbrush books I should be waiting for?

Hello,

I was wondering if there are any good instructional books I should be waiting for. I am currently ordering “ZBrush Digital Sculpting Human Anatomy” the newest version, but i was wondering if “Introducing ZBrush” was going to be updated or is someone else doing an Intro to zbrush 3.5? I am tempted to get the older book, but as you all know the UI is very dated with the onset of 3.5. This is a great time to get into Zbrush, but a bad time to try and learn it. It seems all the training material is a sadly dated.

Any tips on self learning? I have been visiting the classroom, great vids. I just need a different perspective. Books allow me to chew things slower. I tend to be a slow eater.

Thanks for any replies!

If you’re waiting for the books, then so would everyone else be. So nobody would have any better idea of whether they’re good or not.

I do hear very good things about the books listed at http://www.pixologic.com/zclassroom/training/, of which you mentioned one. Even if they’re not written specifically for 3.5 the principles will be the same. Just be sure to understand the New Features PDF found in your 3.5 R3 folder. That way you won’t be thrown off if a screen shot in the book shows differences in the interface.
