very cool small_orange_diamond
Great models Arash. Love your style!
Hey ARASH-B, great work!
Do you think you could share your lighting, material and render settings. I know that’s a lot of info to give out, but I’ve been trying to get results like this for days now, and just can’t seem to get it down, or find any good tutorials. My renders always end up looking flat instead of realistic like this.
Big thanks to ZBC for Top row !

twf152 - thanks, actually it’s nothing special. I used a simple vray material with no special adjustment.
just changed the color, reflection and glossiness.
for the lighting, i used 2 Vray lights, a big one for the key light and a smaller one with more intensity for the rim light.
Thanks much, I appreciate it!
EDIT
I Just wanted to mention that it seems like I was using too many lights in my scene, which washed out the shadows. I also never though about changing the size of the lights which also improved the look.
I’m using Maya Mental Ray instead of Vray, but a lot of the basics carry over, so thank you.
Really spectacular work! His face kind of reminds me a bit of Rick Baker.
Great Work! An amazing piece of art.
Marvelous Sculpts!! Bravo!!
Yo that is so excellent! Not only perfection, but has great character and personality. Love the textures!
The only thing that makes me feel qualified to critique this is to congratulate you on flipping that zipper in the first image!
But now I feel bad for pointing out something you already fixed! lol
Great job!
Ken
Arash, one more thing…on this last image I think it’s really interesting that with so much detail and quality textures in the model that you actually used sculpted hair (beard)! It looks amazing. Subtle and rich surface work. Love your work!
