Aramaki, section 9

Hi,

This is a tribute to Daisuke Aramaki from my favourite anime series after dragon ball, ghost in the shell. I tried to achieve a stylized look, not realistic, between anime and realism. Modeled, rendered (mental ray), and composite made in XSI, UV unwrap in modo, sculpted in Mudbox 2009, fine details, texture painting and pose done in Zbrush and postproduction in Photoshop. hey man, nice model there, i was a fan of the comics myself! maybe you could work more on some areas, the ear for example, the definition of the eyelids on the eyes, and specially the lighting and materials could be also improved…good post overall, i´m surprised no one commented on this yet… good work and good luck!

What you tink about make a ToonShader render in XSI? gonna looks great great

When I was working on it I thought about it, but really, this days I haven’t got any time to make render tests and all that things cause I’m rendering the video for demoreel and it’s a pain.
