Applying Material Problem

hi so i was painting skin in my bust sculpt and when i applied a new mat.(toy plastic) to the eye sockets and went back to painting i noticed something wierd at the back of the head

as you can see in the image, the eye socket and some of the backpart of the heads is receiving more color when i paint over them and when i paint a new mat over them(fill object), it just wont apply.
although painting the mat manually over the head is fine,
but when i change the material, the white part also changes. looks like the material doesnt get recorded same as when painting mat in the new skulpt, when changing the material, the sculpts paint automatically changes to the active material u want to paint
also the material in the nose part is locked and cant be changed.
i tried clearing the mask but it doesnt have any effect either.
lastly the areas other than the white part and the nose is fine.

is it a bug or i just missed something.
also no polygroups assigned and the automasking is off.
sorry for my bad grammar.

Are you using layer?
Does it have UVs and any texture applyed?

no layers, uvs or textures. just polypaint

Well i would try selecting the flat material. Then be sure you have only M selected before appying Fill Object. This should fill all your mesh (visible, unmasked) with flat material. This material erase all the other materials recorded.
If this is still happening. I suggest to export your mesh as it is in OBJ. Then re-import to Zbrush (probably restart ZBrush is good idea too) Now it should be a new imported mesh ready to be polypainted

hi ][-][4Z4R][)) thx for the reply! i tried applying the flat mat. and some other mats but doesnt have any effects sadly, but i will try the other method. thanks again!

Gald to help!:+1:
This second method is a bit extreme but solves almost any issue in meshes.
