Applying a texture after UVMaster

Ok, there is probably some basic concept that I may be overlooking here.
But how do I apply a texture to my model after I have applied a UV map using UVMaster?
I know I can do it on the right side panel. But how do I then do it on the left side?

Or from another perspective after I export my model and re-import it into Zbrush how do I then apply a texture using the uv map applied with uvmaster. Because the only way I would know how to proceed from there would be to choose a uv in the uv section in the tool menu. Or is it necessary to use uvmaster each time you bring your model into Zbrush? And then only use the texture option on the right side which is more difficult to load your own textures from?

Sorry if this seems like a dumb question. I did search for the answer to this. Thank you in advance

Hey there,

in order to apply a texture to your model you need to apply it from Tool/Texture map. So you load up your texture from the regular Texture menu on the left and apply it from the Texture map menu on the right (3.5 R3 of course)

Your UV Map will always be saved with the model. You can check that under Tool/UVmap or Tool/Texture Map/UVcheck.

Hope that helps

Thank you,

I guess that just seemed a little counterintuitive to me.

This method allows each separate subtool to have its own texture.
