apply material

Hi,

I was wondering how to apply a specific shader to my model. Let´s say I am using a matcap material I painted over and I´d like to paint some toyplastic over different areas to give them a more moist look. How can this be done?

Make sure the “M” above the canvas window is highlighted not RGB then go to the color tab at the top and and click FillObject. Doing that will fill the model with that material. Then just select the material you wanna paint on (if you want to paint color along with the material click the MRGB) and paint away.
