Apply DispMap Explodes

Hey gang. When I apply DispMap to my subtool it explodes. It looks great in the preview, but once I click on the Apply button the whole things blows up. It has plenty of geometry to work with. Has anyone else had this issue? Is there some step in the process I’m missing.

  1. Import model
  2. Divide to appropriate level
  3. Apply texture
  4. Apply Alpha/Disp - * Looks great at this point. Intensity at 1.5
  5. Click Apply DispMap
    6 Subtool explodes

I’m running ZBrush 4 on a mac. I’ve been having several other problems with alpha roll, masking, and more, so I’m not sure if my graphics card is the problem of if Z is less stable on a mac.

My card is a ATI Radeon HD 4870

I’m actually having the exact same issue right now and was wondering if you by any chance find a solution to this issue?

my model does not explode exactly but it does inflate a bit.
