Bare model and the thumbnail is with a quick fiber brush paint up …definitely have to work the hands and the feet next. They are pitiful at the moment.

worked a bit more on the hands and feet…still a ways to go before I am happy with him…

2 more thumbnails added …one is the ape singularly and one is a quick mock up of a few of them gathering on a shabby background… c and c welcome…

I am going for more of a missing link look rather than a picture perfect existing ape. So I havent used any reference pics obviously. I have even been pondering trying him with scales…might look pretty wild…but I have to finish the modeling first…

I definitely am not a Rick Baker that’s for sure… but one can dream.
