When I load my custom UI from R7 it also takes on the old look. Is there a way to just bring in my custom menu and other button positions but keep the new flat, cleaner look?
Edit: Colleague told me how. Load the default R8 ui, go to prefences, icolour, save the icolor config out, load your R7 custom UI, load the the icolor config you just saved.
