Anyone know why my project file reverts to draw mode everytime I open it even though I save it in Edit mode? I have to draw out the meshes in ‘Draw’ mode everytime before switching to edit mode. Its not a big deal but can be annoying.
Also, anyone run into problems where Zbrush crashes everytime you try deleting a certain subtool from your project?

What version are you using? Should be ZB4 R6 P2.
My first thought is… are using the save method from the file menu, giving you a .zpr file?
Is it really a .zpr file? have you looked at its ending in your file structure?
Or perhaps you are saving a tool, from the tool menu, in this case you would get the result you are describing. In this case the ending would not be .zpr
Perhaps you have already resolved this?

yes, its a zbrush project .zpr file. I’ve always been saving it as such, with the menu on the photo you attached, or pressing ctrl+s which is the same I believe. On certain occasion I do save a subtool item from the Tools palette.
I just made opened zbrush, fixed my files, material color and saved it as a .zpr file again. However, upon shutting down and reopening zbrush, I end up with the same draw mode again. ><
could it have something to do with configurations?
Could it have anything to do with the ‘R’ icon (restore configurations) in the Tools palette?
Have more the feeling of doing a fresh install of ZB
perhaps then the trouble will go.
