Anyone know what this means? lol

From the book I bought ZBrush Professional Tips and Techniques in the exercise on making wall paper. I bought the electronic version for Kindle which came with no CD.

  1. Create a plane with UVs that fits perfectly in the 0-to-1 space. I have included the Tool plane that I used in this demo.

I have no idea what 0 to 1 space mean.

Thanks

UVs are used for mapping a 2D texture image to a 3D object. They are coordinates in 2D space, U goes in one direction, and V the other. You can think of them as a grid. The 0 - 1 space is the square on that grid that has U values of 0 - 1 and V values of 0 - 1. This is the default space for ZBrush UVs.

You can download the CD material for the book if you go to http://booksupport.wiley.com

Thanks so much and I had been trying to find that download link 2. Thank you
