Any way to get a nano mesh to insert at a specific size like an insert mesh can?

I was wondering if there is any way to get a 1mm sphere nano mesh automatically be applied at its true scale.

I can do this with insert meshes, by having the correct correlating brush size set and then holding down the ctrl key while draging and inserting.

Any way to achieve this with nano meshes?
