Any way to export layers on alpha channel(transparent backround)?

Ive been embarrassed to ask this, because zb seems like it has all the tools needed to do this, yet I havent been able to find a way yet. Is there any way to export an image on a layer as a 32 bit image filet(alpha cannel/transparent backround)?

Or do I have to construct a mask manually and export it? Id much prefer the former, as AA doesnt get handled right with the secondary mask in the image editor, and it tends to get jagged or “artifacty”.

Working with a huge file size will minimize artifacts around the edges after exporting. There will be less jaggedness, but there will still be a gray residue around the edges of your subject. This is an alternative, not a solution. I’m sorry.

There are a couple of ways that you can do things.

  1. Change the document background color to something that is different from anything else in the image. Then use Photoshop’s Magic Wand to select and remove that color.

  2. Press Alpha>GrabDoc and export that alpha to use as a mask in Photoshop. All you’ll need to do is adjust its levels to maximize the black/white coloring.
