I love that you can set a wrap mode of 1 on your brush and then lock to the Z axis, to do tiled sculpting and such for textures. But is there a way to visually see it wrap onto itself? Instead of just looking at one copy? I’ve been away from zbrush for awhile, so solutions aren’t coming to me at the moment.
yeah, build your tile as a 3x3.
then put wrap at 2 instead.
Thanks for the response. I brought in a 3x3 quad tile from another modelling app, divided it, set curve to 2, sculpted something, then brought it back into the modeling app and deleted all but the center square-- but the sculpting doesn’t tile. Did I misunderstand something?
Define, “doesn’t tile”
Was it tiling in zbrush while you were working?
It tiles in zbrush. I’m talking about the frame not tiling, I’m not sure how to frame the selection for exporting so that it tiles.
