Answered: UI elements and text too small on a WQHD res monitor, solutions?

Hi,
New to the forums, and recently picked up a copy of Zbrush for use at home.
Everything going well, but at home I run a DELL u2711, which is a WQHD (2.5k) resolution 27". That basically makes the already very compact and busy UI layout of ZBRush very eyesight intensive, not to mention occasionally frustrating to click your way through with a pen

Is there anything in the UI config I missed to change that? Being the highly propietary widgets app it is of course ZB won’t respond to windows’ larger text options.

If not, I’m sure with all the retina display macs out there I can’t be the only one bleeding his eyeballs off over this, anybody found any solutions?
I could only find one plugin that helps a bit offering some larger bitmaps hooked to palettes for custom layouts, and while it helps, it’s not exactly a complete solution.

Any other tools/plugins/tricks people have been using to work with high DPI monitors?

Thanks in advance,
Raff

You can change the size of UI elements using Preferences >> Interface >> Ui >> Buttons Size. But the size of text is not able to be changed at this time.

Saw that and wide buttons, and alongside a plugin it helped somewhat.
Guess it’s time to get heavily into customizing the interface then

I’m sure with the prominence of retina displays and cheap 2.5k gaming screens this must be popping up between feature requests, fingers crossed for r6 or ZB5 then.

Thanks for the quick reply.
Best,
Raff
