Answered: tips for bringing fully textured models into Cinema 4D?

Hello,

Does anyone know of an easy way to create a fully textured model in Zbrush, and then import it into Cinema 4D with all of the textures? I’ve heard its pretty complicated, but it seems like it should be an easy task, or that there should at least be a plugin that helps.

Any suggestions?

Thank you!

Have you used GoZ? It supports C4D. There are PDF’s explaining it in your ZBrush installation’s Documentation folder.

Nothing will create the full shader settings that you need for C4D but it will at least get your diffuse, displacement and/or normal maps transferred with a default material for each so that you can then adjust the shader properties with a minimum of fuss.

There are a couple videos about GoZ here: http://www.pixologic.com/zbrush/features/GoZBrush/

Ok great, I will check it out- Thanks!!!
