Answered: Split Layer splits layers but loses shape ?

Hi,

I’m trying out the new layers system and am trying to split a layer with shape and polypaint into 2 separate layers via the “Split Layer” button.
When I press it, the layer gets separated into a Shape layer and a Polypaint layer ( = OK ) but the actual shape on the shape layer has gone ( and that’s not OK haha ).

Am I doing something wrong ?

EDIT : it worked when I redid it on a default sphere but not on a sculpt that I made ?

EDIT 2 : I just saw that there kinda is a shape on the shape layer, but it’s kinda an inflated shape on the whole sulpt, instead the detailed shape that I painted.
