Answered: Material problem

Hey guys ,
i need for some help with this :

If i apply the textures to a different subtools and then fill the subtools with different materials - it does not make any difference!

is there a way to fix this?

Thanks

I’m sorry, but it’s unclear what “this” is. If you’re filling the SubTools with different materials and the materials are still changing when you select new materials then it sounds like you’re not dong things quite right when you fill the SubTools. To fill a SubTool you use Color>Fill Object. However, this will only apply material if you have Draw set to M or Mrgb. If it’s just Rgb then the only thing you’ll fill is color. If none of the three material/color options are active then the button won’t have any effect at all.

If you’re having a different problem, please provide more info.

Aurick, the guy means that when you have two subtools (for example) with different material and put textures on them - not as polypaint, then they override the material and the material visible on those subtools is the one currently selected.

This problem seems to be no solution:confused:
