Answered: Corrupted .ZPR file!

Hi there,

Just upgrade to Z4 and something weird happened to me,
I save my project successfully, then restart Zbrush and now file is corrupted!

Is there any workaround to fix corrupted .ZPR files?

I found Z4 pretty stable and full-featured (thanks to Pixologic), but still have to worry about save issues, totally destructive!

I get this error messages when loading file…

Thanks

ZBrush 4 introduced a new fail-safe feature that prevents corrupted saves. If you are overwriting an existing file and the save fails, no changes will be made to the existing file. If you are saving a file under a new name or for the first time and something goes wrong, no file will be written.

For this reason, if you get a file has become corrupted somehow it is going to be due to something else happening on your system. A good example would be if a virus has affected the file.

If you do somehow get a corrupted file, please create a support ticket at http://support.pixologic.com. Include a link or FTP information for where we can download the file for testing. (Your file will be too big to attach to your ticket.) Be sure also to scan your system for viruses or check for hardware failures such as a drive that is going bad or bad memory.

Thanks for answer aurick, very helpful.
I make ticket and send download link soon as possible…
