I want to change a couple defaults in my zbrush. The most important change I want to change is what brushes I can select from when I click my brush icon (changing my brush without going all the way into the lightbox brushes folder system). I want to have smooth stronger available and a couple custom insert brushes I made. Help with this is very appreciated.
I would also like to have my left divider open on startup with the stroke palette set in it. This would be great.

Simply add the desired brushes to your ZBrush installation’s ZStartup\BrushPresets folder. Any brushes in that folder will be loaded into the Brush palette automatically when ZBrush launches.
You can use the other ZStartup folders for textures, materials and other items that you use constantly. Just don’t add more than 25 of any given item, in order to avoid unwanted behavior by overloading the palette.
Set it up and then save your config with Shift + Ctrl + I or from the Preferences panel.
