Another silly question from NOOBie :D

Hi guys i’m new to the community i’m using zbrush 3.0 and maya … there is a question i wanna ask … i have been modeling a waterripple in maya xport to oBJ with no Uv no texture or sowatever … its pure polygon, so when i import tools from Zbrush 3.0 i can only see half of my waterripple … but when i rotate to view via XYZ … the missing part of the water ripple reappear and disappear…i am wondering what have i done wrong… hope you guys out there can help me as i am very new here … thank you sooo much appreciate it very much :slight_smile:

Sounds like the normals on half your object got flipped. Do some research on normals. Google is your friend.

turn on double side

Most application only display front side of the polygon, unless told otherwise by the users

Normal is the direction in which the front face is positive
