I’ll second the vote for 3D Coat which I purchased at the beginning of the year. Retopo and UV’s, two things I despise doing, are soooo easy in 3DC. I like the painting system as well. Voxels are fun too, particularly all the unique things you can do with them. Considering everything you get, it’s hard to find better bang for your buck or a better combo when used beside ZBrush which is still my favorite. I try not to look at it from a versus perspective, but it will be very interesting to see how QRemesher compares.

I literally quit my job today, sold all of my wordly possessions, and have built a shrine to Pixologic in the middle of a field where I can worship the glory that is Zbrush all day long! What a blessing it is to get an update like this!

I think that is correct, it’s what I’ve done anyway… Just don’t forget to chant the ZBrush mantra etc…
How could I forget? It’s my ringtone, the sound that plays when someone rings my doorbell, and I just say it constantly for the month before and after a patch comes out. I mean, these patches are like little slices of heaven come down to save us all!
I’m not sure if I’m laying the mandatory brown-nosing on thick enough so someone tell me if I have to step it up a bit. /sarcasm
