I’m glad to hear some of you are having an easy time with this latest update. I’m really looking forward to my email (if it ever arrives).
I love Pixo’s work and I think they have a very friendly staff, but to be perfectly honest they could be handling this upgrade just a little better. Overall I’d give them a ‘B’ at this point. Not too bad, but it’s not an ‘A’ because there is a huge vacuum in the communication process.
Up until Wednesday I had no idea if the launch was even in process. I understand that they have server-loads to be concerned with (afterall it is a very popular piece of software), but an email to let me know where I sat in the queue would’ve been nice. Even if this date gets bumped at least I’d know that I’m [at the least] in the queue, and not misplaced or forgotten. As it sits I’m not sure if they even know my account exists… it wouldn’t be the first time that things appear to be in order on my side, but for whatever reason their side isn’t in sync with mine.
Any way, it’s just a thought IMHO and to make sure this isn’t misconstrued as a fire-starter, “Z-Brush still rocks, Pixologic is still amazing, and the community here is stellar”.
