Someone posted that info in the other 3.5 thread and it was deleted right after is was on the forum. Weird and wacky stuff my friends.

It would be nice if all the delay was caused because they want to release the windows AAAAaaaannnnndd the mac version together !!!
Allready mentioned but I thought to post the contents of the news update so people don’t ‘read over’ it so easily.
UPDATE 9/8:
We are working to release 3.5 for the PC as quickly as possible. Last minute issues arose which forced the delay, and we are working overtime to correct this.
Once the launch has taken place, please wait two business days before contacting Pixologic to inquire about not having received an upgrade link. As stated below, links will be sent out in batches and it may take a couple days for them all to be sent. We have updated the instructions below to reflect the new schedule. Please do not follow the original schedule to contact Pixologic regarding your upgrade status! Inquiring before the launch has happened, or within two business days of launch will not speed anything up. It will in fact slow us down.
We appreciate your support of Pixologic, and ask for just a bit more patience while we work to provide you with the most polished ZBrush 3.5 possible.

Is GoZ a modified version of the FBX plugin?
Anyone have any idea of HOW LONG this delay will be? I’m not B–ching and moaning. Like everyone else I was VERY interested in this plug and would REALLY like to try it.
So ANY info about a release even a rough one would be nice!

Why does Pixologic always mess up something? With the GoZ app for 3.5 if it does not automatically install in your Maya directory then you have to download the file and place it somewhere but where. No info on this is provided with the download from Pixologic. I am getting tired of Pixologic and their usability issues, if only someone with the company realized this and maybe corrected it. Beside the GoZ issue there are many others but I am not going to rant. I just want GoZ to work for now and I can deal with the other idiotic problems with the software.

yes, I have check out the videos and there is nothing showing where to drop the install files for GoZ. I have 3.5V2 which is supposed to already have GoZ if I am correct. Does anyone out there have 3.5V2 for PC and has GoZ working for Maya?
I don’t believe GOZ for PC is available yet. I know it is on the Mac but I’m pretty sure it’s not on the PC yet.
Just double checked. It says it should be released. So I guess I’m wrong. Haven’t tried to use it myself.

Upon reading further, I discovered this:
Improved export/import options with the capability to import and export Maya .ma file format with automatic setup of shading network for Texture, Displacement and Normal mapping (This feature is a part of the GoZ system. The full GoZ implementation will be included in the next update )

The export option in the Tools menu will export to Maya format. There’s nothing else you need to do.
It’s not out for PC! I know because I check this site twice a day looking for it.
if it is not out then why would ZBrush post that it would be available with the new 3.5V2 update? I checked out the import/export options and GoZ was there but the app for Maya is not? Whay the hell.
This is purely a guess, J, but I think they are adding support for 3d max and topogun. Polyboost and Topogun are huge topo weapons and it would make sense to add those to the line-up. They were supposed to release it last week but, perfection takes time. Big up to the pix
Just to confirm here - You did try exporting via the Tools menu as a Maya file and it didn’t work?

yes please there are a lot of people using 3D studio max, please make a GOZ for 3Ds Max!
Is their a street date yet for GoZ on the PC? I’m brand new to Zbrush and I just bought 3.5 and according to the website it says GoZ for PC by September.
