Honestly, I tried to go to sleep… like 1.5, it’s just not happening! 
But it’s 2 pm - how am I supposed to get to sleep?
(I don’t suppose I should admit that I slept with my PowerBook sitting on the bedside table last night, just in case I got up in the middle of the night and was in dire need of downloading a certain something…)

It’s coming. Our friends at Pixologic are burning the midnight oil, which is a very respectable amount of oil now, battling the exhaustion to bring us what to most of us is our favorite computer based tool ever. They could wait until tomarrow, and say well, you know it just didn’t go as fast as we hoped, but here, and everyone would forget. And everyone would hit that server all at once. Cheers to you guys. Who is burning the midnight oil at Pixologic tonight?

I noticed that when the infamous announcement was made last week that Aurick reassured the masses a few times, this time I see he only did it once and that was at 10 AM if I’m not mistaken. I have a feeling that they might not have been able to pull it off, so maybe Pixolator is human after all and not the superior Alien life force that I Imagined him being

Thanks for the welcome! It’s more like welcome back though. I was on this board when it started, and the board before it, but I’ve been tied up for a long time, so I reregistered just to join the optimists. I imagine Aurick and Pix and whoever else is gunning for this so late at work looking at the gimmie 1.5 posts, and got crestfallen. We should be cheering 'em on, buying them drinks (caffinated :)) and sending a prepaid corporate masseuse out there to take care of the last good guys in the software business, burning out to meet a deadline. I wish I knew what they liked. They should get something for this…besides sales, IMHO.

Gerlon, they have already stated that the release date will be today (Monday, Aug. 26). Either they were lying, or it will be available within the next hour. I’m hoping for the latter

Man that is dedication, working at 11:00 at night. I think they deserve a toast for working so hard.
Well it’s 11:00 o’clock here, so I’m hanging in for at least another hour…If they haven’t released it yet, it’s not because they aren’t trying…I’ve been testing the Premiere Beta, and there are more features coming than even I had, so my anticipation knows no boundaries, and even if they don’t get it out tonight, it will be fine…We all have a major treat coming. 
EDIT : I just saw Auricks’ post…Now that is dedication to the users, right?
