Well, the announcement announcing the release was posted at 8:18 pst on Tuesday the 20th. It is now 8:18 pst on Monday the 26th. I wonder if it’ll happen about the same time???
Well, I’m heading off to bed. I had some oral surgery done today, and needless to say my jaw aches big time. 
Hopefully tomorrow we’ll all be trying out 1.5

I think it is apparent to all that this is not going to happen today…the very least they (Pixologic) could have done was to come onto this board with some sort of an explanation so that we would know for sure.
It is unprofessional to announce a release on a date certain, and then not even offer an explanation…really, we are big boys and girls…we would understand Pixologic.

If I were Pixologic, I’d want to just get it done and over with today, no matter how long it took.

i Don’t know were you Guys are From But it Friday here.
i been up for 3 straight days waiting.

Should always use EST like the rest of the U.S. cause when California is past 12:00pm the rest of the U.S. is long past and into a new day. Or say Monday for PST and Tuesday for the rest of the U.S.
This is kind of like waiting for a child to be born!! the “Labor” is killing us and those darned thing just never pop out on time!
I must admit I’m starting to doubt todays release. It’s almost 9:00, not a word of explaination from anyone. I was expecting to be using it by now. Instead it hasn’t even been released. Trust level… dropping. I believed them when they said it would be released today! I did! But I have this odd feeling that they aren’t working anymore tonight. Maybe it’s just zbrush withdrawl… as I had to format my HDD. I decided I would wait until 1.5 came out instead of re-installing 1.23b, as I thought it would be released already. Arg!
well if we install 1.23b twice will we have 2.43b squared?

Well this thread is getting rather long now isn’t it? Actually 11:30 pm California time is still early in the afternoon for Californians. They don’t consider it to be evening until around 2 am… Believe it Pix and the bunch are biting their collective nails and sweating bullets trying to get this done. More power to 'em! That’s the problem with announcing a date without being ready for that date.
Many, many companies have done it, and put users through what this thread is doing.
Speculation, frustration – it’s like being told “tomorrow is Christmas – then tomorrow comes, and you get – oh, maybe I was wrong”.
I purchased ZBrush after Siggraph of this year in San Antonio. I purchased it as a ‘sketch’ tool for 3D work. It has the most incredible ‘virtual clay’ that I have ever seen. The new tools were what really put me over the edge, especially that I could act quickly and save $100.
All I can say is “patience grasshopper”. You’ll snatch that pebble soon enough. Keep the faith, enjoy the software that you have, knowing that the update is close.

For the record, I am in California. What you say is only true on weekends, and just before a new release of zbrush.
