This may be a silly question and for all I know it may have been addressed already but here it goes… Is it possible to use this posing technique or other posing techniques within ZBrush to create “Morph target” type frames within the layers palette or subtool palette? And in essence I guess animating with in ZBrush? Please tell me that everyone does it and that you have a killer thread that shows how to go about it. Thanks!
You can use the Turntable Plus plugin to record a movie while using a layer to morph from one shape to another. It will do this for all subtools but only the selected layer, so if you are using several layers one after another you will have to record a movie for each (though the movie palette will combine these into one movie if you do this during the same ZBrush session).
Here’s a link to Turntable Plus:

You can also use Transpose Master and SubTool Master (both available from the Download Center) to create and transfer poses into Layers.
The possibilities are nothing compared to a dedicated animation app but it is still possible to achieve impressive results.
HTH,
